Serena Williams regularly shares photos on Instagram about her BTS life as a pro athlete, her adorable daughter, and a bunch of fashion shots. But she just dropped a stunning photo of herself with her husband, Alexis Ohanian, giving him some serious props in the process.
In the pic, the tennis G.O.A.T. is posing next to her husband, who is working a suit. Serena’s look…OMG. She clearly brought her A-game. The 40-year-old completely owned a long-sleeve dress with a thigh-high slit and fringe detail, paired with fishnet stockings, showing off her incredibly toned legs and figure in the process.
People completely freaked in the comments. “Good lord Serena 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🔥🔥🔥🔥,” one person wrote. “OKAY then Serena 🔥😍🤎🥵,” another said.
Serena shared more behind-the-scenes content from the night in her Instagram Stories, including the hilarious fact that she needed to switch to sneakers at one point because her high heel got stuck in an elevator.
Being a pro athlete and all, Serena clearly gets a solid workout from her training on the court.
But she dropped a video on instagram back in May 2020 that showed her 30-minute “warm-up” alongside her sister, Venus Williams. The sisters worked their way through neck rolls, hip-opening exercises, yoga-style arm stretches, and leg stretches. And, at the end, Serena announced, “I’m going to go do some cardio,” because of course she did.
A few months later, Serena shared a Tiktok video of her cardio workout, which included interval ladder training, abs work with a resistance band, weighted jump squats, box jumps, a series of plank variations, and more.
Naturally, Serena eats well, too. She previously told Women’s Health that her philosophy is “eat to live. Don’t live to eat.” She added, “I want to have a healthy lifestyle and, so you know, [I’m eating] a lot of greens and mostly plant-based lately, just super healthy stuff.”
While Serena tends to skip breakfast (“When I roll out of bed, I’m just not hungry,” she shared), she usually will have some kind of greens and a protein, like a bean burger, for lunch. Dinner is usually whatever she and her family feel like having, although Serena said they’re definitely into Taco Tuesdays.
Serena shared that she’s a creature of habit with her diet. “I can have a smoothie for six months,” she said. “And then I’ll be like, I never want to see a smoothie again for the next six months. And then I’ll be like, okay, I’m back on the smoothie. My eating is very moody.”
That dress, though…
